DEI Policy

Fed Girls (“we”, “us,” or “the Company”) is dedicated to upholding the principles of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in all its undertakings, including but not limited to employee engagement, partnerships, and engaging with those who utilize our services (“customers”).

This DEI policy details our internal policies to ensure equality and inclusion of diverse perspectives and individuals from all communities within our organization and those affiliated with us.

Zero Tolerance and Compliance with Laws

FedGirls, at the outset, has a definitive zero-tolerance policy on any form of discrimination against any individual, employee, team member, or member otherwise associated with the organization, permanently, contractually, or prospectively on the basis of their background or identity labels. Any differentiation in hiring, recruitment, promotion, or similar practices that are not based on merit and on any non-work related metric is prohibited and contrary to this policy.

This DEI policy also affirms FedGirls’ commitment to uphold all relevant US federal and state laws, international treaties, and guidelines on the matter.

Inclusion of Certain Protective Practices

Nothing in this policy document proscribes FedGirls from making reasonable classifications and/or implementing progressive policies for the benefit of individuals from underrepresented or underserved groups, including but not limited to maternity benefits, parental leave and flexibility, menstrual leaves, or similar initiatives.

FedGirls understands the various difficulties and barriers groups face due to disabilities imposed by society. We are committed to accommodating fair needs to foster inclusion and equality including accessible materials and infrastructure, inclusive language, and flexible accomodative policies.

Further Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Our company is committed to undertaking initiatives that further DEI which include consciously mentoring and advocating for underrepresented groups, partnering with diverse vendors, supporting minority owned businesses, and taking conscious steps to recognize and amend internal policies to undo systematic barriers.

Action Against Harassment and Discrimination

Any and all acts of discrimination, sexual, or otherwise unlawful harrasment will be dealt with most strcitly and in accordance with applicable law. This policy applies to all persons irrespective of roles and is applicable against any form of discrimination based on social or other demographic identifies including sex, gender, sexual orientation, religion, race, class, caste, disability, age, ancestry, nationality or any other such status.

The policy also prohibits retaliatory action in any form against any person reporting or giving any information related to its violation.

Grievance Redressal

Complaints under this policy or against any set provision can be made in writing or orally, to any part of the leadership of FedGirls including the CEO, managers, and HR. Complaints can be made anonymously, on one’s own or another’s behalf, and as an informant as well. All complaints will be dealt with in an expedient manner and involve external and internal stakeholders as reasonably required. Disciplinary action, upto and including, dismissal based on facts and circumstances is governed by this policy.
